About SSOPA
Sikh School of Performing Arts (SSOPA) is a professional Gurmat Sangeet and performing arts academy offering structured training in Gurmat Vocal, Raag-based singing, Tabla, Jori, and related disciplines through online, offline, and hybrid formats.
Our programs are designed for serious, disciplined learning in a respectful and spiritually grounded environment.
Eligibility & Enrolment
- Students of all ages may enrol in SSOPA programs.
- For minor students, enrolment must be completed with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- By enrolling, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.
- SSOPA reserves the right to accept, reject, or discontinue enrolment at its discretion, especially in cases of misconduct or non-compliance with academy guidelines.
Nature of Services
- SSOPA provides structured educational services and not casual or recreational hobby classes.
- Course content, schedules, instructors, formats, and durations may change based on academic or operational requirements.
- Learning outcomes depend on student discipline, attendance, and practice. SSOPA does not guarantee specific results, certifications, or performance outcomes.
Fees, Payments & Pricing
- Program fees are communicated clearly at the time of enquiry or enrolment.
- All payments must be made in full or as per the agreed payment schedule.
- Fees are non-transferable and apply only to the enrolled student and selected program.
- SSOPA reserves the right to revise pricing or fee structures with prior notice.
Refunds, Cancellations & Missed Classes
- Fees once paid are generally non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
- Missed classes due to personal reasons are not eligible for refunds.
- Make-up classes or recordings may be provided at SSOPA’s discretion, depending on the program structure.
- If a class is cancelled or rescheduled by SSOPA, reasonable alternatives may be offered.
Attendance, Discipline & Conduct
- Regular attendance and disciplined practice are expected from all students.
- Students must maintain respectful behaviour toward teachers, staff, fellow students, and the sanctity of Gurmat learning.
- Disruptive or inappropriate conduct may result in suspension or removal from the program without refund.
- Parents and guardians are expected to support and uphold these standards for minor students.
Online Classes & Recordings
- Online and hybrid classes are conducted using secure platforms.
- Classes may be recorded strictly for educational purposes such as revision or feedback.
- Recordings are for enrolled students only and must not be shared, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.
- Unauthorized recording or misuse of class content may result in termination of access.
Intellectual Property
- All course materials, recordings, documents, audio, video, and learning resources are the intellectual property of SSOPA or its instructors.
- Content may not be copied, shared, sold, modified, or redistributed without prior written consent.
- Materials may be used only for personal learning within SSOPA programs.
Use of Student Media
- Student photos, videos, or performance recordings may be used for educational or promotional purposes only with consent.
- Parents or students may request that specific media not be used publicly by contacting SSOPA in writing.
Health, Safety & Responsibility
- Students are responsible for their physical and vocal well-being during practice and performance.
- SSOPA is not liable for injuries, strain, or health issues arising from improper practice or failure to follow guidance.
- Parents are responsible for ensuring a safe learning environment for children during online classes.
Limitation of Liability
- SSOPA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation in its services.
- Participation in classes is voluntary and at the student’s discretion.
- SSOPA does not guarantee uninterrupted website or online service availability.
Website Usage
